Dear Santa,
I saw the kids making metaphors today. See the gingerbread house I am on ?Guess what, they talked about it today. Speaking of gingerbread house, I really hope I don't eat it. I had to have a little taste. Sorry. They are being really good today. I found out that Mrs. Voye's class was really good at writing metaphors comparing their family members to parts of the house. Do you know how I can see if everyone is doing the Pledge of Allegiance? By being on the flag! I love listening to the kids say the Pledge of Allegiance and their Pride Promise. If anyone does not say it truthfully I can tell. I don't like to tell Santa some of the bad stuff you do, but it is my sacred duty to do so. So make sure you guys are on your best behavior so I don't tell on you. Another thing is you have all cashed in your votes for my name, some good ones are the ones that are special and unique, and the votes told us my name is...Peppermint!!! If you voted for my name you have a very good skill at making names.
Sincerely, your loving scout elf, Peppermint (Abby) I love watching the students work and laugh, but I miss the North Pole. But that doesn't mean I won't be here forever. I come every night to the North Pole to tell you what happened and I will be going back to the North Pole on Christmas Eve. I never knew that the Earth is tilted, so because the Earth is tilted, it makes the Earth unheated on both sides, and when this happens, it makes weather. So here is a picture of me on a globe looking at the North Pole. (Ethan)
Today I arrived from the North Pole into Mrs. Voye's class. Santa, since you sent me to observe the students and to report back to you each night, I will be watching very carefully. I am new to the job and a little nervous. I really want to make you proud. The students seem really nice. I miss everyone though. |
